How do I get a Linux computer’s hardware info?

Easy!

Use this command to see the cpu info::

cat /proc/cpuinfo

Use this command to see the memory info:

cat /proc/meminfo

This gives a lot of hardware related info:

dmesg

Use this command to get PCI bus info:

lspci

I tested this on centOS. You can get the OS from this command:

cat /proc/version

Happy hunting!
